The MPO is undertaking a Multimodal Economic Impact Study in partnership with the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART). The study’s purpose is to quantify the economic impacts and benefits of transportation investments in the region. Additionally, the study will isolate the economic impacts of transit in the area to demonstrate the nature, magnitude, and sensitivity of return on investment to different strategic options the region may consider in the Reimagine DART plan.
