FFY 2019 — Transportation Alternatives Program

The application period has closed and grants have been awarded for the Fiscal Year 2019 Transportation Alternatives Program funds that are administered by the MPO.

Project Awards

The MPO Policy Committee on April 16, 2015, approved the award of TAP funds for federal fiscal year 2019, following the recommendations of the MPO Funding Subcommittee. Five of the 12 TAP applications will receive some level of funding, including:

Polk County – Mark C. Ackelson Trail, Phase 3
Des Moines – 6th Avenue Streetscape Project, Phase 1
Bondurant – Gay Lea Wilson Trail East, Segment 3
Des Moines – Ingersoll Avenue Streetscape, Phase 2
Ankeny – Safe Routes to School, School Zone Flashing Beacons
