Des Moines Area Municipal and County Fire and Police Departments• Coordinate with the County Emergency Management Centers in an emergency disaster
• Provide situational awareness and coordinate among emergency responders during an emergency or an incident
• Equip, utilize, and manage emergency vehicle pre–emption equipment, if applicable
• Provide emergency response by dispatching the appropriate emergency vehicles, equipment, and personnel
• Acknowledge emergency–call notification from a Dispatch Center
